Since 1991, Entech Design has been an innovative manufacturer of quality sonar interface detection instruments.
Our equipment uses fixed-point transducers (in single and multiple sensor configurations) for simple sediment level, blanket level and liquid level detection and employs remotely controlled scanning transducers to produce three dimensional images of sediment in power industry bottom ash hoppers and slag tanks. Systems are designed specifically for harsh industrial applications for exposure to high temperatures, harsh chemicals and a wide range of physical properties of materials in process liquors.

BinMinder 9300

Nationally recognized as the leading interface level analyzer in water and wastewater treatment applications. Over 2,500 level measurement units successfully installed across the U.S. and World. Successfully operated in primary and secondary clarifiers, round and rectangular tanks, stationary and traveling bridges, gravity thickeners, reactor clarifiers, and DAF thickeners. BinMinder ETS combines proven ultrasonic sludge level and reliable scattered light turbidity technologies in a dual purpose sensor.

EPA 2000

Accurately measures filter media expansion while backwashing filters in water treatment applications. Analyzer continuously tracks cumulative media loss in gravity filters and displays media expansion as a percent of media bed depth during the backwash. Primary benefits include improved filter cleaning, extended filter run time, reduction in media loss, and promotion of even media re-stratification.

EPA 2000 with backwash turbidity provides a highly cost-effective measurement of media expansion and backwash turbidity in one sensor.

MAPS 20/20

The Material Acoustical Profile System (MAPS) uses sophisticated oceanographic mapping equipment combined with custom image enhancement software to process and display 2 and 3 dimensional images of bottom ash levels in water-filled hoppers. Patented MAPS technology enables plant personnel to observe and visually identify the level and distribution of material in the hopper without water removal and its associated risks. Systems have been successfully installed and operational across the United States since 1991.

Ash Tracker

Ash Tracker is the newest enhancement for reliable trouble free bottom ash level systems for coal-fired boilers. This versatile system employs fixed-point sensors configured to the specific requirements of each application. Ash Tracker offers superior performance in conventional bottom ash hoppers, slag tanks, submerged flight conveyors, and step-bottom hoppers at an exceptionally low cost.
